What if a bacteria is missing, such as Akkermansia?Updated a year ago

If a particular bacterium we sequence for, such as Akkermansia, does not appear in the report, it is because it is below detectable limits (BDL). This means the bacterium may not be present in the sample, or its levels are so low that they cannot be detected.
